Dell announced that its upcoming
Precision M3800 workplace will be the world's "thinnest and lightest"
workstation notebooks. Show this week at SIGGRAPH2013 meeting, the company is playing
with a new laptop on its website.
Precision overhaul including the newest
Haswell's (or fourth-generation Core) Intel processors and NVIDIA Quadro
graphics (perhaps the new K6000). Equally important, particularly for the
MacBook Pro competition, M3800 will be equipped with a 3,200 X1, 800 (QHD +)
revealed that the beating of 2,880 X1, 800 resolution Retina display MacBook
Pro, if M3800 15-inch screen.
This is achievable because the
new Dell started at only 4.5 pounds, the thickness of only 0.7 inches (18 mm).
Match the 15-inch MacBook Pro size, but probably because Apple does not require
its top-tier laptop "workplace" Dell is promoting as a world champion
svelteness the M3800.
Regrettably, costly little else
is acknowledged as M3800, as well as price and availability, more than a vague
"later this year." Engadget reports, which will sustain up to 15GB of
RAM, 512GB of SSD or included 1TB hard drive option, but we 'will have to wait
and see if these rumors pan.
